Spending Limit

The greatest risk to economic growth where most Alaskans work, our private sector, is unpredictable and unrestrained public sector spending. For this reason, a constitutional amendment providing an effective spending limit on our legislature is necessary.

The argument over whether we should have a spending limit has already been settled. We have a constitutional spending limit that is ineffective at controlling spending. This section of the state constitution must be re-written.
